The Seals coaches all began swimming as young children and collectively have over 20 years of coaching experience. They are very dedicated to making the Seals team the best coached swimmers in the league.

The 2010 season will be my ninth year as a swim coach for EBSL -eighth for the Seals.  I also coached a highschool swim team in 2004. My goal is to make each individual a better; faster swimmer.  In turn if each individual does their part, our team will make progress as a whole. I am confident in our team and our capabilities, but I will need the desire from each swimmer to want to be the best they can.  I have seen a lot of swimmers swim, and the ones that succeed are the ones who know they can do better, and want to do better.  I am a strong believer  that the individuals make up our team but the team makes the individual. We have a great coaching staff, a lot of new swimmers looking for a fresh start. I am very excited and proud to be a part of this team.

This season is my seventh coaching for the Seals and I am looking forward to another exciting year. I was introduced to swimming at a very early age and have been swimming since age four. I have participated  in both swim and water polo teams as both a swimmer and coach. My recent experience includes playing water polo for Ohlone college, coaching the American highschool swim team, and five years coaching American and Mission highschool's water polo teams. I am very proud to be coaching the Seals once again and I'm looking forward to fun and success this season. Go Seals!

This is my first year coaching in the EBSL league. I started competitive swimming when I was 11 years old. My first team was the one and only Kennedy Seals, coached by Gene Kendall.  I swam for the Seals until I was 16, then for MSJA, a local year-round club team, until graduation. Also swam all four years for Irvington High School varsity men's team, becoming captain my last year.  Currently I am swimming for Ohlone College and Gene Kendall once again.  I've been a swim instructor for Fremont Swim School, a senior swim instructor for Swim America, and a summer team coach for Swim America for two years now.  I am excited for the opportunity to coach on the team I started my own swimming career on and am looking forward to having a lot of fun with you all this season!

I am very excited for another year coaching such a great team. I began swimming when I was ten and at an early age recognized and was very amazed with the community spirit of the Seals. I have a comprehensive swimming background. I started swimming on the EBSL Warm Springs team, swam in highschool and captained my JV team. For the last four years, I've coached in various capacities. I was very successful coaching the Irvington water polo team - coaching them from a zero win season - to winning the league championships!  Prior to the Seals, I coached the Warm Springs, the team that initiated me to the sport. I look forward to another great season with the Seals.

The 2010 season is my first year with the Seals. I have a very diverse coaching background that includes coaching recreational summer, year-round, and high school teams ranging from 75 to 200 swimmers!  I started swimming when I was four, on a Walnut Creek team similar to the Seals, and swam until I was eighteen.  I also swam with the fall program of the local year-round team and four years in high school. I continued swimming in college at a local junior college for two years and swam an additional two years at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. I am looking forward to meeting and getting to know all of the Seals swimmers.  I have a lot to share with the swimmers and I am confident that the team will learn a lot from my vast knowledge of the sport of swimming. It is my hope that each swimmer will not only become the best swimmer they can be, but that they will also learn about themselves which will help them become the best people that they can be. I chose to be a swim coach for my career, because it is the best way for me to give back to the sport that has given me so much.  It is the best opportunity for me to make a difference. Coaching swimming is not just a job to me.  It is my life. I hope to help make the Seals the best, most fun team, not only in EBSL, but in the entire world. See you at the pool! GO SEALS!!!!!!!!!!!!
